Making final plans for its 43rd Annual Bourne Scallop Fest, the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers to assist the 50,000+ people expected to attend the Fest. We need servers, bus greeters, hospitality hosts and runners to work in 4-hour shifts in the mornings, early afternoons, late afternoon-evenings.
“We now need 600 volunteers to make the Scallop Fest work,” said Marie Oliva, President and CEO. “The only requirement is giving your time to the community while having fun.”
Oliva said that the Scallop Fest is looking for first-time volunteers to supplement the individuals and company teams that return year after year. “Working at the Scallop Fest is a great team-building experience; that’s why so many companies recruit their workers to help.”
Candidates can visit www.bournescallopfest.com to register online or call the Chamber at 508 759-6000, X10 to have a volunteer form faxed or mailed to them.
