FIREWORKS AT ONSET HARBOR
The Town of Wareham, Onset Bay Association, Wareham Village Association, and Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce have again collaborated to present the Fireworks in Onset Village, scheduled on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Onset Harbor.
$20,000 must be raised for the Fireworks Display.
The Wareham Fireworks Committee, Co-chaired by Mary Lou Payton and Jackie Lindsey, of the Onset Bay Association, has kicked-off the appeal to raise donations from businesses and residents to continue this long standing and ever popular tradition.
Mary Lou Payton emphasized: “We appreciate support from the town in this endeavor, and have full confidence we can raise the funding necessary for the Fireworks. This is an extraordinary event that brings in people from all over the region and state. “
The 2nd Annual Onset/Wareham Fundraising Event is scheduled Thursday, June 7, 5:30pm at the Mezza Luna Restaurant, 253 Main Street, Buzzards Bay comprising of an auction and 50/50 Raffle. Entrance donation is $10.00; complimentary hors d’oeuvres.
